Culinary Ministry
The Culinary Ministry provides food service for church functions to be served in a hospitable environment.
2 Corinthians 9:12 – For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God.
Hospitality Ministry
Hospitality is comprised of Ushers, Greeters, and Parking/Grounds. The ministry helps welcome visitors and members to the church. Our mission is to serve as doorkeepers of the house of God. We are here to assist the Pastor, members, and visitors with any needs they may have. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe and orderly environment for all to feel free to worship the Lord.
Psalm 84:10 – For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Marriage Ministry
Marriage Ministry, entitled “Marriage Made to Last” is currently held every third Wednesday of each month. These sessions are open to couples, divorcees and singles to encourage through biblical teachings.
Mark 10:8-9 - And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Media Ministry
To assist in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ via photography, audio and video recording of various services; providing media services and support to various ministries; maintaining and updating the church's web presence.
Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Men's Ministry
Bringing together men of all ages to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ encouraging each other to be servant leaders in our families, church, and communities; all in the spirit of love and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:1-3 – I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. With lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Music Ministry
The music ministry is comprised of 4 different groups; Praise Team, SOC Ensemble, Kingdom Kids, and Men of Worship. It is our mission to minister in song. We desire to bring forth words of inspiration, encouragement, and edification through songs. Our purpose is to set the atmosphere for praise and worship, and to prepare hearts to receive the word of God.
Psalm 95:1 – O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Psalm 68:4 – Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts, Whose name is the LORD, and exult before Him.
Praise Dance Ministry
The purpose of a praise dancer is to magnify the name of the Lord. The praise dancer is to prepare an atmosphere of worship. To express the art of dance through praise and worship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalm 149:3 - Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
Women's Ministry
Bringing together women of all ages to fellowship and encourage each other; so that together, we can all become strong women of God, grow in our relationship with God, and walk in our destiny that God has purposed in us.
To be called to a different standard in God.
To stand boldly on the word of God.
To hold our sisters up in time of need in any situation.
To be able to minister and be ministered to.
To be ready to serve in any capacity at Spirit of Christ Worship Center with love.
Youth Ministry
It is our mission as teachers, to bring forth an understanding and love for Christ to our youth; so that they can carry the tradition as our future leaders at Spirit of Christ Worship Center. Children's Church (for children ages 3-12) sing on 5th Sundays.
Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
